Garbage Bin Specifications

  • Drawing depicts bin for two garbage containers
  • Bin for three containers is to be 7-1/2' x 2-1/2' x 3'
  • For four containers, two standard bins are to be used
  • All bins to be situated on level ground
  • All bins to be firmly staked to the ground
  • All wood to be pressure treated
  • Location to be determined in consultation with Public Works Director
  • Frame to be constructed from 2" x 4"
  • Pickets to be 1" x 4"
  • Spacing between pickets not to exceed 1/2"
  • Alternate designs must be approved by the Public Works Director

    NOTE: All cans should fit entirely within the bin provided, so measurements may have to be adjusted.
